About geterome
geterome is a single-purpose tool: it reads a public Erome album and gives you a clean list of the files inside it, with a download button beside each one.
How it works
When you paste a link, geterome fetches that public album page, finds the media it references, and asks each file's host for its size. Nothing about your request is stored alongside it.
Downloads pass through this server rather than going directly from your browser to the source. That is not a design preference: the source rejects requests that do not come from its own pages, so a direct browser download simply fails. Routing through the server also means your address is never handed to the source host, and files arrive with a proper filename instead of opening in a tab.
What it does not do
- It does not store the media you download. Files stream through and are gone.
- It does not host, mirror, or index anyone's content.
- It does not require an account, an email address, or a password.
- It cannot reach private or deleted albums. Only what is already public is visible to it.
Independence
geterome is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to erome.com in any way. The name describes what the tool does. All content reached through it belongs to whoever created and uploaded it.
Who writes this
geterome is built and run by one person, not a company. The tool, the guides, and the server underneath them are all the work of a single operator who has spent years running video sites and the infrastructure that carries them.
That person publishes under the site name rather than a legal one. This is a tool for an adult platform, and attaching a real identity to it invites consequences that have nothing to do with whether the work is any good. It would also be a strange thing to argue for your privacy on one page and hand over a name on the next.
So judge it by what it does rather than by who signs it. Nothing here asks for an account, an email address, or a payment method, which means there is nothing here to take from you. What the server does and does not keep is written out plainly on the privacy page, including the parts that are not flattering.
