Complaints are taken seriously and answered. Please read the next paragraph first, because it usually determines where a complaint needs to go.

This site hosts nothing

geterome stores no media. It has no library, no uploads, and no archive. When someone requests a file, it is read from its original host at that moment and passed straight through. Removing a file here does not remove it from the internet, because the file is not here. The about page describes that route in more detail.

That means the fastest and most complete removal is at the source. A file taken down at its host disappears from every tool that can reach it, including this one, immediately and permanently.

Reporting to us anyway

If material that infringes your rights, or that depicts you without consent, is reachable through this site, write to [email protected] and include:

• Your name and contact details.
• The exact address of the material, or enough detail to identify it.
• What right you hold, or a statement that the material depicts you.
• A statement that your complaint is made in good faith and is accurate.

Valid reports are actioned by blocking the material from being retrieved through this site. Reports about non-consensual material are treated as urgent and do not require you to prove copyright ownership.

If access to material was blocked and you believe that was a mistake, write to the same address explaining why, with your contact details.
